MISSION STATEMENT
We are an association of people initiated into Reiki.
We are part of the world-wide Reiki community.
Our mission is to facilitate and nurture the understanding and practice of the Usui System of Reiki Healing as expressed by the Office of Grand Master.
OUR VALUES
This is how we operate as an organisation:We welcome all people who are initiated into Reiki. We honour the spiritual lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, Phyllis Lei Furumoto. We embody the Reiki Principles in everything we do. We believe in having respect for one another and working with honesty, openness and integrity. We respect each individual's personal journey We believe that The Reiki Association members have a right to be heard and have a say in the running of the Association We make decisions drawing on the wisdom of the past and being mindful of their effects on future generations. We believe in standards for professional practitioners We deliver our services in a professional manner We reflect good practice in our financial and administrative systems We use any income generated solely to further the aims of the Association We are committed to working with care for the environment
WHAT REIKI MEANS FOR US AS AN ASSOCIATION

We honour the Usui system of Reiki Healing as expressed by the Office of Grand Master We recognise the lineage bearer as the living representative of this discipline We honour the four aspects of the Usui System of Reiki Healing:
· Healing Technique,
· Tool for Personal Growth,
· Spiritual Discipline
· Mystic order.We value the Usui system as a recognised practice. We are grateful for the collective wisdom of the world-wide Reiki community. We recognise Reiki as a living evolutionary process. We use Reiki in our decision making process.
WE AIM TO:
I. Encourage people to deepen their practice of the Art of Reiki
II. Provide information about Reiki to members of the Association and the wider community
III. Foster the Reiki community locally, nationally and internationally
IV. Encourage members to contribute to the decision making process of the Association
V. Encourage professional standards of Reiki practice
